Can I claim this through my health insurance?  Yes, provided that you live in Ontario and that your insurance plan includes physiotherapy.  Currently our therapists are registered in the province of Ontario Canada with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.  The following insurance companies have confirmed that they will pay for virtual rehabilitation sessions: Manulife, Sunlife, Blue Cross, Great West Life/Canada Life, Claims Secure, Green Shield, Rwan, Johnson and several others.

Do I need a doctor’s referral note? The simple answer is no; however, if you want to claim the treatment through your health insurance and your insurance carrier requires a note then you may be required to obtain this prior to starting your treatment.

How do you assess me without touching me?  Through a detailed interview, followed by observing your movements and then walking you through special tests to narrow down your symptoms we can provide you with an extremely accurate diagnosis.  As with any health professional, if there is something that we cannot test or that seems unclear, we will always refer you on to your local doctor or closest in person physiotherapy clinic.
